Asheville Bread Festival

April 26 - April 27, 2025
10:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • The 17th (Bi)Annual Asheville Bread Festival will take place April 26th + 27th 2025. This two-day event will bring together bread enthusiasts and professional bakers to break bread, improve their baking skills, share ideas, and network within the artisan bread community.

This year's theme, "A Sense of Place," will highlight the distinctive, resilient and abundant nature of our region. This gathering serves as a collaborative space for bakers, millers, farmers, brewers, and chefs, both enthusiasts and professionals, in celebrating the unifying power of bread.

In the wake of Hurricane Helene's devastating impact, we stand united with our baking community, recognizing the urgent need to support those struggling to rebuild their lives and livelihoods. This year's fest will serve a greater purpose as we transform this beloved event into a powerful fundraiser for WNC relief efforts, channelling our passion for baking into a force for community recovery.

Day 1 (Saturday, April 26th, 2025) Bread Fair at New Belgium Brewery: Local and regional artisan bakers and millers offering a range of breads, pastries, flours, and more. This will be followed by a series of hands-on workshops and lectures at various locations around Asheville and Hendersonville.

Day 2 (Sunday, April 27th, 2025) consisted of a six-hour Master Class with intensive instruction and discussion. This event will be available only to professional bakers.
